Tamila
Kharambura
Born in 1990 in Lviv, Ukraine, Tamila is currently a visiting professor of Violin at the Lisbon Superior School of Music and frequently collaborates with various orchestras in Austria and Portugal, such as the Wiener KammerOrchester, Volksoper Wien and the Gulbenkian Orchestra. She started learning the violin with her mother, Elena Kharambura. She later studied with Gareguin Aroutiounian at the Lisbon Superior School of Music, with Pavel Vernikov at the Scuola di Musica di Fiesole, Italy, and with Vesna Stankovic-Moffatt at the Kunstuniversität in Graz, Austria. He has performed solo with several orchestras in Portugal and in his native country, among which the Gulbenkian Orchestra, the Portuguese Symphonic Orchestra, the Artquest Orchestra and the Orquestra Clássica do Centro. He had the privilege of playing under the direction of conductors such as Garry Walker, Jean-Sébastien Béreau, Pedro Neves, David Wyn Lloyd, Pedro Carneiro, Serguiy Burko and José Eduardo Gomes.
