Figueiredo
He studied trumpet at the Conservatory of Music Calouste Gulbenkian, in Aveiro. He continued his studies at the University of Aveiro, having finished the degree in composition with 19 values, under the guidance of Sara Carvalho, João Pedro Oliveira, Joan Rivera and particularly with Ricardo Ribeiro. As a composer, was awarded with the Prize for Best Electronic Portuguese Music in the "X Competition of Electroacoustic Music", sponsored by Miso Music. He was a finalist in the "2nd International Composition Competition" by Casa da Música, and the 1st International competition of composition "New Composers" held by the Metropolitan Orchestra of Lisbon (2013). Won the 5th International Composition Competition of Povoa do Varzim, with a concert for clarinet and orchestra (Ocaso), interpreted by the clarinetist Sérgio Silva Neves (2010). Currently, he is completing a master's degree in composition at the University of Aveiro under the guidance of Vasco Negreiros. His works have been played in Portugal, Slovakia, France, Monaco and Brazil.
