“Poema Anacrónico” marks the solo debut of guitarist Hugo Vasco Reis. In this project, the portuguese guitar is presented as a soloist instrument. Three main sections are presented: portuguese guitar and piano (featuring compositions by António Victorino d’Almeida), portuguese guitar solo (composed by the player), and transcribed works of Carlos Seixas (1704-1742), originally for keyboard, adapted to portuguese guitar and viola da gamba.
