Leonilda
Moreira de Sá

Leonilda Moreira de Sá (1882-1963) was a Portuguese pianist, daughter of Bernardo Valentim Moreira de Sá, director of the Conservatory of Music of Porto. She married the composer Luiz Costa (1879-1960) and she gave birth to the pianist Helena Sá e Costa (1913-2006). She appeared as pianist in several chamber music concerts between 1895 and 1948. In 1939, at the São Luiz Theatre, Lisbon, she played J. S. Bach's Concerto in D minor for three keyboards with Luiz Costa and Helena Sá e Costa, under the direction of Pedro de Freitas Branco.
