Jacques
Veyrier
Jacques Veyerier (1928-) is a French composer. He studied at the Lille Conservatory with Robert Lanoy and then at the Paris Conservatory where he was a laureate of the Counterpoint & Fugue class of Simone Plé-Caussade as well as the Aesthetics class of Roland-Manuel. He also received advice from Darius Milhaud. He directed the Conservatory of Saint Omer, then that of Boulogne sur Mer until 1994. He then wrote many educational works.
