António de Baena (1540?-1562?) was a Portuguese knight and composer of the Renaissance. Hypothetically, he also developed activity as a chronicler. António de Baena was the son of the musician Gonçalo de Baena. He was a musician of King João III and of King Sebastião. He took part on the military campaigns in northern Africa.
